We had a very nice holiday in Mestre. You can get to Venice by bus in no time, for only €3 per person. We can highly recommend the bakery around the corner, as well as the ice cream parlour nearby. Otherwise, it is a perfect starting point to visit many beaches and other beautiful places. Thank you Mario and Francesca for our successful first exchange and the friendly communication.

La casa è comoda ed accogliente, perfetta per visitare Venezia: ci sono collegamenti in autobus o tram a tutte le ore del giorno e fino alla sera tardi!

Dere er helt fantastisk bytte bolig med, så gjestfrie og profesjonelle i forhold til prosessen Nydelig bekvemlig hus og hage. Vi har forelsket oss i Altforville, høflige, mennesker i nærområde, trygt, koselig. Alt av bekvemligheter i nærheten.. Nært Paris, men godt kunne trekke seg unna turistene og komme tilbake til Alforville hvor det ikke er noen turister om kveldene. Noe av det beste vi synes ved boligbytte er å bo i et nabolag. Bli kjent med hvordan franskmenn rundt Paris lever. Nydelig bruke alle sansene og ta inne inntrykkene. Vi er frankofile ❤️

Thank you very much Mario and Family, we have had wonderful easter days in Mestre. The house is a perfect starting point to visit Venice. Thank you again for the ambition to pick us up from the airport and the venetian presents we found at our arrival.

Set in a quiet street not far from Mestre train station this cosy and nicely furnished home was a real pleasure to exchange with. As the summer was very hot we became good friends with the ice-cream shop owner at the end of the street who sells some of the greatest ice-cream we have ever had. There is a little bakery around the corner, and a market as well as a supermarket. A great location to visit Venice if you want to escape the tourist traffic.
