This is our second exchange with Maxine and John and just as successful and enjoyable as our first exchange. Their home is very comfortable with a green and restful garden, in a very pleasant neighbourhood. It is ten minutes from the coastal path with magnificent views of the harbour. The whole Northern Beaches area is so enjoyable that, apart from a few visits to Sydney, we were happy to stay local and enjoy the good weather and the gorgeous scenery. Maxine and John had left our house beautifully clean and tidy and it was a pleasure to exchange with them.

Thank you Maxine and John. We enjoyed our stay in your lovely, comfortable home. It was very peaceful and quiet being set back from the road in a lovely garden. It was a short walk to the bus stop for easy access to the city. Best of all it was a short walk to the harbour and on to the Manly to Spit Bridge Walk which also allowed access to numerous other walks in the National Park. The walk had everything - huge overhanging rocks, lush vegetation and beautiful wildflowers with the flannel flowers the best we have seen in the bush. All this with harbour views, from rocky ledges looking to the heads to wandering into little secluded bays. Thanks again. Jan and Jeff

Excellent leafy suburb of Sydney, close to Manly and the harbour walks. We felt very much at home and were made to feel very welcome. Good choice for Sydney and the northern beaches. Many thanks Maxine and John.

We have not been in this part of Sydney before. Nice walks ( most are hilly) and shops a bit far to walk in the hot weather. Everything we needed was there and we enjoyed a lovely Christmas day with our Sydney family. Thanks Maxine and John

Maxine and John`s home is a well located suburban townhouse on the northern side of Sydney. It is very nice to come home after a visiting day in Sydney or return from the northern beaches. The description of the home provided on the website is entirely accurate. We just stayed for a few days but communication was excellent, keys were provieded easily, we could also leave some luggage there in advance of our stay. Neighbors were very friendly and most helpful. There are supermarkets and restaurants located around. The transport links to the city were within walking distance, although especially with children we recommend a car.
