Our neighborhood is nestled between Hamilton and Washington Heights. It is a popular and lively neighborhood with rich and strong Caribbean community, so you will find an abundance of Caribbean/Mexican markets and restaurants. It's the perfect occasion for you to discover all kinds of herbs, vegetables and fruit!
Our street is usually quiet, with the occasional car honking or siren, but the people in the building are quiet and very friendly. There are opera singers and musicians in the building but they only practice during the day.
In the summer, however, people like to play music and party on the streets with the occasional fireworks, but it usually ends by midnight.
Our building is very close to historical houses (Hamilton's farm and Washington's headquarter), and great walks along the Hudson or to High Bridge. It is walking distance from Yankee Stadium if you like baseball.
