Beskrivelse af vores byttebolig
Large home one mile from waterfront old town part of New Bern. New Bern is a town of about 30,000 about 2 hours drive from NC Capital of Raleigh. It has lots of music and theater and boating. There is always something to do. It is a historic town from the 1700's with the Tryon Palace as a "living museum", and "state of the art" History Center. All the unique shops in old town are individually owned and there are many wonderful places to eat or just hang out.

Beskrivelse af omegn
The DeGraffenried Park Historic District is listed on the National Register in the area of community planning and development for its significance as New Bern's most exclusive early twentieth century suburb. Because the lots are large, each block generally contains only five or six houses, set well back from the street with large grassed front and back yards. It is a beautiful and safe neighborhood with a park and open spaces for encouraging community interaction.

Our home is one mile from the historic old town of New Bern where the Neuse and Trent Rivers come together. There are many individually owned shops, restaurants, cafe's, Tryon Palace museum, History Center, live Theaters, water front restaurants, and loads of music venues every night. The whole town is a historic and natural treasure. Boating is a huge part of the area.
