Our house in the city of Berlin is located in a very green and quiet area. A small lake for swimming is 10mins by foot. You can easily reach the highlights of the city by subway or bus (15-45 mins depending which part of the city you would like to visit). Apart from city itself, the surroundings of Berlin are great for day trips (lakes, forests, small cities). Also other cities can quickly be reached from Berlin, e.g. Hamburg 2 hours, Dresden 2 hours, Prague (Czeck Rep.) 3,5 hours, Baltic Sea 3,5 hours.
