Beskrivelse af vores byttebolig
We live in a spacious, atmospheric very quiet but central family apartment in a very pleasant location between park, cinema, laidback cafes and small stores. Our balcony got afternoon and evening sun and is a green oasis where you can relax from the city life. We got great and helpful neighbours in the house. Situated in Prenzlauer Berg, there are lots of cultural and culinary options. The bus from just around the corner takes you literally everywhere from East to West and is also great for a sightseeing tour. Included are our 3 bikes (best transport in summer) but you will also find rental bikes or scooters.

The Bötzowviertel with avenues and beautiful old buildings has many nice cafes, bars, small stores, grocery stores and everything you need to enjoy life in Berlin. In addition, on the doorstep is a quite popular park with a pond, picnic areas, playgrounds, skate park, tennis courts and beer garden. Next door is an art house cinema with international films also in original language. The Bötzowviertel has a very friendly and laid-back atmosphere, almost village-like, however, the central Alexanderplatz is just a 5 minutes bus drive or bicycle ride away.

Since we live close to the former Eastern Center of Berlin, there are lots of attractions within close reach.
- The Volkspark Friedrichshain is just across the street with a great summer outdoor movie theatre, a beer garden and many meadows to enjoy picnics.
- In our Bötzowviertel, especially in the Hufelandstrasse, you find the best restaurants and cafés, ever.
- The famous Alexanderplatz is only 5 minutes away - by bus or bike.
- The other most popular districts are in 15-20 minutes bike-, bus- or tram rides away: i. e. the other Prenzlauer Berg districts and Berlin-Mitte (great restaurants, cafés, bars and shops), the Mauerpark with one of the largest flea markets of Berlin, is close, too; erlin's party districts Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg. Also, there are two nice little lakes with open air swimmingpools (Weissensee and Orankesee), just a 15 minutes bike- or tram-ride away.

Our balcony is beautifully sunny, quiet and green in the summer and an oasis for long summer evenings. Perhaps, like us, you will enjoy refreshing the green with a little water in the summer, so you might enjoy fresh herbs, tomatoes and berries. Please, only smoke outside on the balcony.
