Hello! Kitty and myself are a couple that have both grown up in North West London and met whilst studying for our masters degree at UCL. Kitty works as an environmental consultant and I work at a sustainable urban development initiative in Waterloo, London. I am half Welsh and we regularly visit my family that live in the Snowdonia National Park.
We love reading, listening to music, going to the theatre and exploring new places, especially by hiking or cycling.
Growing up I enjoyed many home exchange holidays with my family and now I am older I am looking forward to creating more amazing memories of my own.

Beskrivelse af vores byttebolig
Our two bedroom London apartment is located on a quiet side street just off the bustling Kilburn High Road. Just a 20-minute journey into the city centre using one of the four local tube stations and a short walk away from the trendy neighbourhoods of West Hampstead and Queens Park, our home is the perfect place for couples or small families that are looking to explore this amazing city.
The apartment is located on the first floor of a traditional end-of-terrace Victorian house. It has a master bedroom with a king size bed and a second bedroom with a double sofa bed, as well as an office/reading room and modern bathroom. A small staircase then leads down into a large open plan kitchen and living area complete with a hi-fi set up, TV (with all major streaming subscriptions), and lots and lots of books. The recently renovated kitchen has all the usual amenities including a large fridge-freezer, four hob gas stove, dishwasher, washer-dryer and microwave.

Our home is located in Kilburn, a diverse and vibrant neighbourhood traditionally home to London's Irish and Middle Eastern communities which makes for a delightfully unique combination of both fantastic Guinness and shawarma. The High Road, just a 2 minute walk away, also boasts loads of restaurants, traditional pubs, convenient shops, a classic live music venue and a wonderful independent theatre/cinema. Just 10 minutes walk either side of Kilburn High Road you'll find the trendy neighbourhoods of West Hampstead and Queens Park, both of which offer a huge variety of restaurants, boutique shops and cafes.
Lastly, the house is ideally located walking distance away from 4 tube stations each of separate lines, which will quickly transport you into the city centre in less than half-an-hour as well as regular buses that will take you directly to famous landmarks such as Oxford Street, Hyde Park and Buckingham Palace.

Not many "rules" just please treat our home how your would wish us to treat yours.
Also - please use heat proof matts on the surfaces when cooking and be very careful if using my beloved record player. Please also be aware of our neighbours when playing music or walking around late at night.
