Edinburgh became the world's first UNESCO "City of Literature" in 2004 in recognition of both its literary heritage and its current literary activities. It is well located for exploring Scotland's many attractions. The house comes well equipped with local maps for touring and mountaineering. We have bikes available for use, along with golf clubs, and tennis gear. There is plenty of excellent cosmopolitan restaurants and shopping within Morningside as well as Edinburgh. Edinburgh airport is 20 minutes away.
