Beskrivelse af vores byttebolig
If you want to experience Vancouver on the water, you will enjoy our floathome. We enjoy a kitchen designed for people who love to cook as well as a space (inside and out) ideal for relaxation. We are a short walk away from the Lonsdale Quay where one can take a 13-minute Seabus voyage into the heart of Vancouver.

Beskrivelse af omegn
Our immediate neighbourhood is the marina in which there are 50+ floathomes as well as hundreds of boats. It is a friendly community. The overall management of the marina is administered by the Squamish First Nations; with each floathome being self-managed. The wider community is Lower Lonsdale (or "LoLo" as it's affectionately known); with its vibrant waterfront (the "Shipyards District") with views of Vancouver to the south and mountains to the north. LoLo is full of restaurants, pubs, independent shops, and specialty food stores. The Spirit Trail runs by the marina: a multi-use paved path for walking, cycling, skating, or using any wheeled mobility aid. Winding along the waterfront, the North Shore Spirit Trail is a 35km greenway from Horseshoe Bay on the west of the North Shore to Deep Cove (the furthest point east). In addition to the paved Spirit Trail, there are hundreds of kms of mountain trails within the North Shore mountains; easily accessed by bus/car/bike/walking.

Vores lokale tips for muligheder, steder at besøge, mens du er i vor bolig
From our house, it's a short walk to the beginning of the Mosquito Creek Trail which will take up up into the mountains. When we feel like an urban experience, it's a short walk to Lower Lonsdale which offers a wide choice of restaurants and pubs. Should we feel like something further afield, it's only a 13-minute Seabus voyage from the North Shore's Lonsday Quay to the heart of downtown Vancouver where there are theatres (live and film), restaurants... everything a world-city such as Vancouver offers.
