Staying here reaffirmed the benefits of home exchange over other accommodation options. It helped us discover a different side of Antwerp (whilst being only a few minutes from the central/tourist area). Their home is a comfortable, family home and we were made to feel welcome. Antwerp is a great place with so much going on. We had a great time.

We felt very comfortable in Liesbeth's and Jo's beautiful house. The house with its great architecture is tastefully and cosily furnished. We were able to explore the city by bike. Liesbeth and Jo provided us with good tips and informations. Thank you both for the lovely exchange.

Wir sind von dem Tauschprinzip,welches Homelink vertritt absolut begeistert.So hatten wir auch in diesem Sommer eine wundervolle Zeit in Antwerpen.Eine sehr geräumige Wohnküche mit Zugang zum Garten und gemütliche Schlaf -und Wohnräume ließen nichts zu wünschen übrig.Durch eine gute Verkehrsanbindung konnten wir das Zentrum mit seinen vielen Museen und schönen Kirchen gut erreichen, ohne das Auto benutzen zu müssen.Die Kommunikation mit Liesbeth war zügig und hilfreich.Obwohl während unseres Aufenthaltes sehr hohe Temperaturen herrschten ,ließ es sich in dem Haus gut entspannen! Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen.Rückblickend werden wir uns gerne an diesen Tausch errinnern.Antwerpen ist eine absolut schöne Stadt durch ihre schönen Plätze und dem historischen Zentrum ,Restaurants und Kaffes der unterschiedlichsten Art und nicht zuletzt der Vielfältigkeit der Nationalitäten,die das Straßenbild unglaublich interessant machen.Es war einfach schön . On our regular tours of Antwerp we often wondered what it must be to live in one of those typical Flemish city houses with decorated facades and incredibly high ceilings – and now we know! They are so high that you can even hang your bike underneath it and won't even touch it with your head! Luckily there were some bikes standing on the floor too, which made going around Antwerp ever so easy! Yet the nicest parts of residential Antwerp were just a few minutes by foot: the bustling square Dageraadsplaats with its many teraces, restaurants and playgrounds of all sorts and the absolutely adorable art-nouveau Cogels-Osylei with its voluptuously decorated villa's. We enjoyed our stay at Liesbeth's and Jo's house very much, both the house and the location are very convenient and pleasant.

We had a wonderful time at Liesbeth and Jo's! There was more than enough space, the kitchen was very well equipped and they supplied us with everything necessary for the perfect city trip to Antwerpen. Not only could we use their bikes and Burley, which is great for children, but they also gave us some personal advice of their favorite spots like the Dageraadplaats which we have been to almost every night. Their house is located in a very vibrant neighborhood which is very interesting for itself but also not too far away from the city center. We couldn't have found a better place to explore this wonderful city. Thank you very much!

We hebben super genoten van jullie mooi herenhuis, ideaal gelegen om de stad in te duiken, de vele musea te bezoeken en de multiculturele buurten te verkennen. Maar onze focus hopte van MHKA tot Middelheim beeldenpark over Rivierenhof om te eindigen in het MAS op 't Eilandje. In tussentijd veel gewandeld, gefietst, gegeten van Take Away om uiteindelijk na te genieten in de zetel met een streepje goede muziek. Maar wat kan een lang weekend toch verschrikkelijk kort zijn, want voor we het wisten waren wij terug in Gent. We blikken tevreden terug op een zeer geslaagde ruil! Bedankt Liesbeth, Jo en Nathan voor jullie gastvrijheid!

We hadden een heel fijn weekend in Borgerhout. Een aangenaam huis, voor ons ideaal gelegen om de oostkant van Antwerpen te ontdekken: in de eerste plaats Borgerhout en Berchem. (hoewel we ook op Linkeroever zijn gaan fietsen, want Antwerpen is niet zó groot, alles is met de fiets te doen) Kortom: een hele fijne ervaring!

Lovely and spacious house right in the middle of Antwerp. Fine place to relax and discover Antwerp!

Liesbeth en Jo zijn ervaren huizenruilers, en hebben ons zeer welkom geheten. Het huis heeft een mooie gevel, en is leuk qua opzet met allemaal kleine trappetjes naar verschillende kamers. Het is voldoende in het centrum, zeker met het lenen van hun fietsen. Antwerpen is natuurlijk heel leuk, veel te doen en kregen een hele leuke tip van Liesbeth en haar zoon Nathan: het Red line museum. Fijne paar dagen gehad, hartelijk dank!

Liesbeth and Jo have a lovely town-house with plenty of room in a nice and quiet neighbourhood. It’s within very easy reach of the city center by bike and we had a great time exploring almost every street (or so it felt) in Antwerpen on their bikes. There’s a lot to see in Antwerpen and still the town is small enough to get to know your way around. Close to the house is a lovely square with restaurants and bars - good food and many fantastic Belgian beers, so you have everything you could possibly need at hand. Thanks again for letting us stay in your cosy and homely home.

It has been a pleasure our week-long stay in Antwerp. Big and nice house, comfortable and well placed. Just a short walk from the station and the city center. Easy connexion by train with other beautifuls citys like Bruges and Ghent. Dear Liesbeth, we have really enjoyed our stay in Antwerp. Thank you for a most wonderful stay in Antwerp. With the bikes and the tips from Liesbeth & Jo we had a very good time discovering the city. We loved the natural swimming pond, Summerbar and Dageraadsplein. The house felt very welcoming and really like a home away from home. Also we had a great get-together in our house with this very nice family. Worth repeating!

Liesbeth, Jo - we had a wonderfull time at your home, and enjoyed the biking to Antwerp. We loved the neighbourhood and the Summer of Antwerp and het MAS, the graffiti exposition... at only 1 h from our house! Thank you for a wonderful time in Antwerpen. Your house was very special with lots of rooms on lots of floors and very welcoming and charming. We had a great time seeing the historic centre, the central station and the Middelheim Park and a beautiful day in Brugge.
