We are a family of 5 and a cat named Kosen. We like many things, among them are outdoor activities like bicykling (also on fatbike), gardening, skiing and hiking. We love to exchange houses, and we have experienced 6 different, but very nice exchange-holidays to France, Belgium, Denmark and New Zealand.

Description of the home we are offering for exchange
Our house is spacious and nice, with a view to the sea, and the surrounding mountains. We have a nice garden and terrace. The house is typical Norwegian house from the 1960´s. Refurbished over the latest years. It is childfriendly, and we have a cat (that probably will be on his own vacation when we are not home). 2 km to the city centre, you can walk, take the bus or go there by car. 15 min to the airport. There are nice hiking-routes directly from our house, or you can walk 10 min and take the cable car up on the closest mountain with a spectacular view over the city and the stunning landscape surrounding it.

Our neighbourhood is very quiet, with friendly neighbours, gardens and detatched houses.. You can walk to the local supermarket. The city centre is 2 km away.

Our home exchange - places to go and things to do while staying in our home
Only 10 min walk to the cablecars that take you up in the mountain. If you want, you can walk down to our house again. 10 minutes walk in a different direction, you find the Arctic Cathedral, where you can enjoy midnight conserts all summer. The church is famous for its architecture and a symbol for our city.
